About the DIA

The Duby Intercollegiate Associateship is an independent academic initiative dedicated to expanding access to rigorous and structured knowledge across institutions.

The Duby Intercollegiate Associateship (DIA) was founded by two alumni of Lycée Georges Duby who, through their academic experience, observed the limitations of traditional knowledge dissemination within and across institutions. Too often, high-level research and intellectual exchange remain confined to narrow academic circles.

In response, the founders called upon a principle of scientific and intellectual solidarity, mobilising a network of motivated students, alumni of Lycée Georges Duby, and peers from leading universities. The objective was clear: to create a structured yet accessible programme through which research, expertise, and academic reflection could circulate more freely between institutions.

The DIA Programme is therefore designed as an intercollegiate platform where advanced knowledge can be shared without institutional barriers. By bringing together speakers, researchers, and students from some of the most prestigious universities worldwide, the initiative seeks to foster a culture of rigorous curiosity and collaborative learning.

Importantly, the Duby Intercollegiate Associateship operates on a strictly non-profit and non-commercial basis. Its purpose is not financial gain, but the promotion of academic excellence, intellectual openness, and the responsible circulation of knowledge.

Through its lectures, publications, and growing international network, DIA aims to contribute — modestly but concretely — to a more connected and intellectually engaged student community.
